Gosia, accountancy student with experience in teaching and hospitality. She is a true optimist with a smile always on her face. Her true passion is working with children. Cannot wait to lend a helping hand in Kenya- perhaps next year.
Emma, a recent graduate and a passionate volunteer with great experience in working with children in Kenya. I loved the time there and would love to help and experience the truly wonderful feeling of helping those kids again.
Tumu is a teacher at one of the schools JBAC worked with. Tumu is finishing her studies to become a fully qualified teacher and can’t wait to work with us on some educational projects.
John, a Community Development worker based in Kenya, passionate about children and young people’s development and rights. Although from UK originally John has lived and worked in different parts of Africa for the last 15 years.
Rosie,born in Kenya’s North, relocating to Ukunda and now working on various charitable projects. Rosie is kind hearted and always up for adventure and fun. We are very lucky to have her on board.
Jay, has returned to education and now studies Community Development. Skills and knowledge he wishes to put into good use.
Aisha currently studying for her Masters in HR with wealth of expertise in volunteering, particularly for the VSO. She is passionate about engaging her local community in projects and self-management activities. Aisha agreed to become a Trustee and we are delighted.
Alex, is and always has been involved in charitable work focusing on children’s development and has plenty of experience in fundraising and running charities both big and small. His contacts and knowledge is amazing and we are very lucky to entrust our fundraising activities to him.

Diane, born in the UK, working on many creative projects simultaneously. Her creativity is the reason for the charity’s great logos. Beside designing newsletters, logos and webpages, Diane works toward her diploma in counselling.
